The company has fostered a gaming experience through its PT-MZ20 series of 20,000-lumen LCD projectors.
Panasonic Connect Europe's laser LCD projectors have been installed at Chaos Karts, the interactive experience combining video games and go-karting, located in Manchester, UK, making it the first entertainment space of its kind across the British territory.
In the attraction, a total of 23 SOLID SHINE laser LCD projectors from Panasonic's PT-MZ20 series have been implemented, immersing players in a virtual video game to compete in a race.
Designed by The Ents Inc, Chaos Karts is an innovative experience where players "burn rubber" in a digitally projected world, competing around a potentially infinite number of tracks. Their vehicles interact with the virtual circuit and with any challenges that rival players may "throw" at them.
Panasonic projectors are used to display images of the circuits, as well as virtual power-ups and weapons that can be used by each user, enabling an immersive and captivating live-action gaming experience.
Durable brightness and reliability
The PT-MZ20 series is Panasonic's smallest, lightest, and brightest laser LCD projector offering up to 20,000 lumens, with WUXGA resolution and SOLID SHINE technology promising high-quality projection. They seamlessly meet the needs of Chaos Karts, requiring continuous projection and minimal maintenance to offer its experience throughout the year.
Weighing only 23 kg and with a lifespan of up to 20,000 maintenance-free hours thanks to its dust-proof design, long-lasting eco filter, and unique liquid cooling system, the PT-MZ20 series offers the reliability and leading installation flexibility essential for this type of immersive experience.
Leader in gamification
Immersive and gamification experiences in the entertainment industry are booming, and Panasonic has a range of projectors specifically designed for the needs of these spaces. The reliability of the projectors and the quality of the images are at the top of the list of requirements in this sector. Panasonic is at the forefront of these innovations, thanks to our teams capable of assisting in the planning and design of an experience and our projectors transporting participants to new worlds with their high standards of quality, says Hartmut Kulessa, European Marketing Director for Visual System Solutions at Panasonic Connect Europe.
