PPDS has been named the market leader in the Nordics for the first time.
According to the latest official industry figures from respected research firm, DMR AS, PPDS has seen its market share surpass that of its nearest (and longer serving) competitors, reaching a commanding 36% at the end of Q1.
The figures, which cover sales in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, cover a range of product categories within the commercial TV market, including 4K UHD, FHD and HD.
The best is yet to come
Confirmation of PPDS’ Nordic standing comes after the manufacturer announced sales of its highly acclaimed, future proof, Philips MediaSuite pro Android hospitality TVs recently surpassed 110,000, since first going on sale in 2019. Numbers in 2020, despite the challenges, continued to rise significantly, with hotels all over Europe recognising the quality and long-term benefits – both for RoI, sustainability and guest experience – of the range.
Raising the bar
Philips MediaSuite, which is now the preferred choice for thousands of hotels across Europe, is widely credited for ‘raising the bar’ for hospitality TVs, with a number of ‘world first’ features and benefits.
