FRENETIK unveils the first in its Resist series of weather resistant Dante enabled PoE+ loudspeakers at ISE 2022.

The new Resist5 meets demanding IP65 ingress protection standards and is cased in a rugged ABS plastic shell, allowing it to be installed in outdoor environments that are exposed to the elements year-round.

Resist5 is a self-powered, 2-way passive speaker design, equipped with a passive radiator, 5" woofer and 1" tweeter and delivering a peak SPL of 110dB.

Each Resist5 speaker incorporates a 60W class D amplifier with integral DSP and can be controlled remotely via FRENETIK’s Adjust software, enabling easy volume, bass and treble changes. With a frequency response of 50Hz - 18kHz and broad, even coverage over 90o x 90o, Resist5 is ideally suited to long-life service in theme parks, bar and restaurant terraces, education campuses and other demanding exterior environments.

Designed for fast, hassle-free installation, Resist5 is connected and powered via standard RJ45 cable and integrates seamlessly into Dante networks. The speaker comes supplied with a cable gland to prevent water ingress, together with a versatile mounting bracket
