This is enabled by the “in-camera VFX” method, which combines the 137” Crystal LED B-series and VENICE cinema camera, alongside a camera tracking system and real-time engine.

AI PTZ Automation for high quality video shooting

The new SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 4K cameras support high quality video shooting but with built-in AI PTZ Auto Framing Technology. It automatically tracks the person with Pan, Tilt and Zoom movement using technology developed from professional camera operator’s experience for a more natural framing and comfortable viewing. The tracking performance is outstanding regardless of posture and movement of the tracked person.

Sony’s Edge Analytics solution can be used with our network cameras in education environments. This video analytics technology integrates AR software and AI technology to enhance a presentation experience intuitively, improve the visual and audio quality, and transform engagement for virtual audiences.

Preparing business for the future of work

Following the pandemic, helping businesses prepare for the future of work is important to Sony. Our research shows that asynchronous work, where employees are not online at the same time, is becoming the new normal.

However, 58% of employees surveyed by Sony say businesses do not have the tools to support this way of working.
