EARPRO&EES, Midwich Portugal, and Video Digital have hosted a new edition of SIA (Audiovisual Integration Systems).

 

The event, held at the L’Hospitalet de Llobregat facilities, brought together the main systems integrators from Spain and Portugal, who gathered to experience and test different AV/IT solution proposals developed from a 360º approach.

 

With a renewed format focused on practical experience and reviewing the latest industry trends, the EARPRO&EES and Video Digital building was transformed to allow attendees to immerse themselves in spaces where different business verticals and projects were recreated, all equipped with comprehensive solutions developed through the distributed brands.

After a few years of inactivity, we wanted to resume and redefine our historic SIA convention with the aim of connecting with our customers and partners in the integration segment. To this end, we have structured a concept based on the 360+1 premise (comprehensive solutions + our partners), with the aim of offering experiences that would help consolidate our position as the best ally to bring any AV/IT integration project to life, explains Mauri Costa, Sales Director Systems.

 

Meanwhile, Pere Castro, CEO of EARPRO&EES and Midwich Portugal, adds: “We were clear that it was the ideal moment to reconnect, share experiences, and exchange ideas that allow us to continue enhancing our comprehensive offer. This new edition of SIA has allowed us to achieve these objectives, and the best part is that we have been able to do it with the active involvement of our represented brands and sector partners, whom we want to thank for their contribution to making this event a success”, he concludes.

In this line, the SIA 360+1 edition has counted on the support and direct participation of renowned brands in the sector, including Shure, Robe, Q-SYS, Absen, Philips, LG, Neat, EPSON, Panasonic Connect, Astera, Atlona, Bosch, Netgear, Black Box, Vogel’s, Black Magic Design, and Microsoft.

Similarly, SIA has been an excellent opportunity to present integrators with the latest additions to the solution portfolio. On the one hand, L-Acoustics and LEA Professional, whose distribution in Spain and Portugal has strengthened the audio catalog. On the other hand, ROXX, also distributed at the Iberian level, which allows consolidating the offer of high-quality and precision lighting solutions for entertainment and architectural environments.

 

Review of the company's latest milestones and future strategy

The 2024 edition of SIA has also been the best opportunity to review the company's latest milestones, including the creation of Midwich Portugal and the acquisition of Video Digital.

On the one hand, Midwich Portugal has represented the natural evolution of the activity developed for years by EARPRO&EES in the Portuguese market, creating a new locally oriented company and landing in the territory with the first offices in Lisbon. All this, aimed at establishing even stronger relationships with customers and partners in Portugal.

On the other hand, the incorporation of Video Digital has meant the integration into the Midwich group of the leading distributor of professional broadcast and post-production equipment. In this way, the portfolio of offerings and services in these business verticals has been significantly strengthened, with the alliance with Blackmagic Design being particularly relevant.
